The history of TV condense

The first film with sound was “the jazz singer” and it was in 1927. In 1922 the British Broadcasting company (BBC) was created and it was for the radio stations that where all over the country. 1926 the BBC changed the company to corporation and this was for TV and the director was John Reith. In 1936 the BBC channel was created and it was called BBCTV. Then in 1939- 1946 TV stopped from the WW 2 and this was to stop the enemy finding out what we were doing.  In 1952 the queen’s conation happened and this created a rush for people to buy TV and many people don’t think it would take off. 1955 is when independent television (ITV) came on to the telly and this was a channel that had lots of different studios that did the news more local then the BBC’s news from London. In 1964 BBC Two was made but there was a power cut and the channel was restarted on the next day. The first program was play school. 1969 TV’s started broadcasting in colour. In 1982 Channel 4 was made and the first show they broadcasted was Countdown. 1983 breakfast telly was on because the TV programs stared at midday. 1988/89 cable and Sky was created and this gave more channels then the four that were on the telly before there was cable and Sky. 1997 is when channel 5 was made the first broadcast was the Spice Girls singing a re-written version of Manfred Mann's hit "5-4-3-2-1" as "1-2-3-4-5".
