The guardian says how 16 – 17 years will have a four month prison sentence for knife crime. The four month sentence will affect the people that have a weapon on them all of the time they will have another four month sentence and have to go on a training course. There is also an extended determinate sentence (EDS). They are to contain the most dangerous criminals and give them a longer prison sentence and they will be put on the violent offenders list.
